Emma Traver
Emma Traver is a small town girl, whose ambition and attitude drove her to the city of Las Vegas to begin a new chapter in her life.
In 2007 Emma moved to Las Vegas to leave the small town life behind. With no set plans in motion, Emma decided to attend UNLV and get a job at the Hard Rock Hotel. She decided if moving to Sin City was going to be the right choice she better experience it to the fullest and where better to meet people than the Hard Rock Hotel.
Leaving a town where everyone knows everyone to a place where seating celebrities happens on a weekly basis opened her eyes and made her realize that Las Vegas had so much to offer. With an interest in advertising Emma knew that her decision to pick Las Vegas offered her an opportunity that small town Pennsylvania couldn’t give to her. “I want to succeed in a place where people will recognize my work and appreciate it,” Emma said.
Meeting new and interesting people was something Emma always enjoyed and the culture shock from small town girl to big city woman finally sank in December 2009 when she walked across the stage at UNLV. Now ready to step out into the real world Emma needed what most graduating students’ need these days and that is a job. This is where Ron and Kirsh Media come into play.
Emma’s Story:
“Wednesday night was always an interesting night in my last semester at UNLV. Ron Kirsh was my teacher for a Media Buying class that I absolutely loved. I always knew that advertising was my passion but I leaned more towards the creative aspect of it until I met Ron. I had to do an interview for another class and chose to pick Ron as one of my sources. The man intrigued me - a teacher, a business owner and a radio disc jockey. From that day on I told myself that I was determined to be something big I just didn’t know exactly what thas going to be yet.
A few months after graduation I had called Ron to ask him if he knew any jobs that were available and a week later he offered me a position at Kirsh Media Group. With my first step in the right direction I’m still learning the ropes and looking forward to every minute of it, with Ron and Kirsh Media Group.”
